Sample Marriage-Based Green Card Interview Questions

It can be stressful to go through the process and not know what is going to happen during the interview for the Green Card and what kind of questions they’ll ask, I know, I’ve been there!

That’s why I decided to share my experience. I hope it can be helpful to some of you, who are going through or going to go through the same process.

I divided the topic in 3 parts.
– The documents that my husband and I brought (Part 1). Check it out here.
– The questions that might be asked during the interview (Part 2).
– The interview itself – Our own experience (Part 3). Check it out here.

This is Part 2. This is probably the part that interests and stresses the most, just because it’s the part that we, reasonably, apprehend  the most – this was my case at least – I mean, what the hell are they going to ask? Are they going to trick us? What to expect? Yup, question marks surrounding our little heads. No worries, just apply the 20/80 rule, 20%  preparation and 80%  relaxation. Or, should it be the reverse, 20% relaxation and 80% preparation? Ok, let’s just make it 50/50, just prepare and relax 😉

Check out the video, I share with you what I learnt from my lawyer.

Before the interview, in order to prepare, our lawyer gave us a list of sample questions that might be asked during the interview. Here it is:

A special thanks to our attorney and her team who took great care of our case, and helped us to go through the entire process quite serenely. Extremely professional, very responsive, and pleasantly sympathetic, I could not make a better recommendation if you are looking for an immigration lawyer, based in Washington DC.
